Especially with the carbon fiber canopy (search for the black 680 Pro carbon fiber canopy, it will work on the 650 sport).The retractable landing gear work extremely well, I love it. This is one of the most refined models I've ever built. Since I had to do a ton of research figuring out the power system, I'll share what I learned. This is a tried and true flier. I've put dozens of packs through this setup in 110degree Arizona summer heat without a hiccup:- Tarot 650 Sport- Turnigy Plush 40a ESCs- Sunnysky 3508-580kv Motors- 1155 CF T-style props- Zippy Compact 4s 5000mah batteries. Standalone: ~12 minutes of flight w/GoPro In Parallel: 22 minutes of flight w/GoPro. Power system and drone do not complain at all about the extra weight.- DJI NAZA-M v2 FC- Immersion 600mw VTX w Bluebeam Omni Antenna (GetFPV)- Sony FPV Cam (sorry, don't remember the part #)- HK 3way Video Switch- FrSky X8R w s.bus to Naza + Turnigy 9xr Pro = 16 usable channels- FrSky Smarthub Voltage Sensor delivers per cell battery voltage direct to 9xr LCD screenIn the spirit of continuous improvement I'll offer a few gripes:- The motor mounting plates should be indexed to the top deck to prevent unlevel motor mounting. As it stands, you have to level on your own. It's not a big deal but it's not a hard fix by the manufacturer either.- Landing gear T's are the weakest engineering on the model. They require set screws to be driven into the vertical and horizontal carbon tubes. Too tight and you crack the tube. Too lose and they fall off or slide around. They need to re-visit this.- Power distribution for ESCs limits folding of the arms. Not sure what they were thinking with this but when you solder your ESC +/- to the PDB and try to fold the arms, the carbon tubes will run over the solder points.
