I installed it myself and everything was good. 8 months later we had no water and i could see a capacitor in the control box had gone bad. I got a new one but the pump still wouldn't come on. I called customer service and i couldn't be happier with there help, Jason walked me through diagnosing the problem step by step and after 15 minutes on the phone we had established the motor was good but there was a short in the wires below the well cap (which is what ruined the capacitor). After pulling the pump I found where the wire had rubbed against the well casing and were shorting out below the water line.( note: use jacked submersible wire, not the single strand submersible. It gives the wire much more protection) After replacing the wire and reinstalling the pump everything works great. I really have the say that Jason was really a big help.
