It takes just a few drops on each area of your face and you just pat it in. You use it after cleansing your face and before you moisturize. It is supposed to gently exfoliate your skin and I feel like my skin is smoother. I also think it works with the moisturizer to lock in the hydration. This is the 10% version and they recommend you mix it with your moisturizer at first is you have sensitive skin until you adjust to it. I mixed it the first time I used it but it didn't mix well so the next day I put it on straight.
