I bought it to use for mat Pilates, among other workouts. It’s not very thick, but it still provides plenty of cushion. The bottom is slightly grippy and works well on my LVP flooring. It can still slide around during certain movements, such as when one foot is on the floor and the other is on the mat. However, as long as you’re fully on the mat, it stays in place.I placed it next to my Pilates machine for size reference. It’s easy to wipe clean, and I was even able to vacuum it on low suction to remove my cat’s hair. My old yoga mat was starting to deteriorate so I decided it was time to get a new one. I don't do yoga, I just use these mats as padding for when I do workout videos (P90x, Popsugar, Insanity, etc). Usually a normal yoga mat is too narrow and a lot of exercises require more floor space. With this mat, I'm able to stay on it the entire time. The cushioning on it is quite nice and the surface is nice and grippy as well. It has a little bit of typical chemical smell with products like this but honestly I didn't really notice it after I started using it. It does come in a bag and 2 straps to keep it rolled up, which I appreciate for storage. However it is really large so I can't imagine bringing this around anywhere lol.
