It only needs two table spoons per bowl. It also cooks quickly (90 seconds) so it is good if you want a hot meal but are in a rush. I was worried about the precooked noodles being mushy but they were fine, and I liked the thickness. This is more of an "Americanized" ramen-ish type noodle meal rather than Pho, udon, or any others. It was spicy but not unbearable. The one thing I did not like at all is it was extremely tangy. It was overwhelming for me so I added a little (just a drop or two) of sesame oil and it helped the taste a bit so I could finish it. I won't be buying them in this flavor again. They were a good price so I will see if there is another flavor.
