Now a homeowner, I have seen the same thing. I have moved to more holistic make ups and make up removers that have natural oils in them. The oil smell was now not coming out of the washcloths on top of the makeup stains. This is a soap free, dry disposable, but reusable wash cloth. You use it with your own routine products. These cloths are thick, can last up to10-14 days, are very soft and strong, and my makeup and natural oil facial cleansers are not ruining the smell of all of my laundry with the oils. They dry very fast and can be reused the next day. When it gets too thin, just toss it out and grab a new one. These are great for travel as well. I highly recommend these and have told everyone about them.
