With this bag purchase, I decided to join the bandwagon. When I work out, I always bring with me a small towel and my journal. A recently new edition to my workouts is wearing a pair of “squat shoes” due to my lack of flexibility and poor mobility. And then there are days when I need to use chalk when deadlifting to keep my sweaty hands from dropping the bar. Another item I regularly use is a dipping belt to add extra weight when I do dips or chin ups. And the number of times I forgot to wear my watch to the gym because I forgot it at home. So many things! That’s where the bag comes in. It’s just the right size for all the options I want to use while I’m working out. I researched many bag options, both duffel and backpacks. Price was a factor. I lot of people love the King Kong bags, but as a starter bag, those bags are too much gym bag for me at this time, and costly. I wanted something that had some pockets or separate areas that would fit all of my gym “necessities” and my gym clothes. I keep my non-gym clothes and my coat in a locker and the rest comes out with me to the gym floor. I ordered the navy color.
