When I put it up against the original part, I had to make one adjustment to the bends - probably they had to bend it a little to make it fit in the box. Parts of this type are always a pain to install. If you are rebuilding the engine, replace this part BEFORE putting the intake on, or at least before putting the smog crossover pipe in place because it hinders getting this in the gap between the firewall and tranny.
