That being said, when you turn the bolt with the key, it will fully deploy, which is great if you are locking from the outside. However, to bolt it from the inside, when you turn the knob it sticks, it will not fully deploy. If you twist harder, the internal brass bar connected to the knob just torques and will end up bent like a brass linguine noodle. I saw the video where the guy tries to kick in the door but it won't budge, fantastic! But if you if you can't throw bolt and lock it from the inside, that feature does you no good at all. It took me a while to install this so I'm told I can't return it. But at least I can help you not to waste your time and money (and also all wood you need to chisel off your door jamb) by buying this piece of @#*&^.
