I remember vividly how impressed he was by a very simple yet very flavorful dish made only with spaghetti, a few finely sliced garlic cloves, olive oil and bottarga. I love garlic, I love OO and this dish sounded appealing to me. I also remember he said you either love it or hate it, and that most of the time it is an acquired taste. Which he was not far from. I have first made it while pregnant with my first son and I remember I liked it but I was not that crazy about it as I was hoping for. Next day, all I wanted to eat was bottarga pasta.
