So until now I have been using maximum size Philips warm light energy saving bulbs (Tornado 23W) in Ikea floor lights. These lights are a lot better - you get a lot more light output than the Philips bulbs, the colour is very pleasant and it doesn't have the harshness that other LED lights have.A big additional bonus compared to using the energy saving bulbs is choosing the brightness. Your body clock takes a lot of cues from the light coming into your eyes - and it's not just blue light from screens you need to be careful of in the evenings but ambient light also.
