Advantages : Can be exposed to water from a shower after 1 hour of curing between +23°C and +30°C and 50% RH approx. High elasticity and flexibility. Long-term resistance to fungi and mould. Contains a biocidal product for the control of mould and fungi (CAS: 26530-20-1). Features : Density: 0.97 kg/l approx. Operating temperature: -30 °C to +120 °C Curing rate: approx. 3 mm in 24 hours (23 °C / 50% RH) Casting resistance: approx. 1 mm Skin formation time: approx. 9 minutes (23 °C / 50% HR) Color: White Packaging: 300ml Reference: 579733x2 Packaging : 1x Set of 2 anti-mould silicone mastic special sanitary - SIKA Sanisil Rapide - White - 300ml Delivered in its original packaging Tips : The substrate must be clean, dry, sound, and homogeneous, free of oils, grease, dust and loose or friable particles. Paint and other weakly adhering elements must be removed. Remove all old sealants and any products that may affect adhesion. Sika Sanisil Rapid is supplied ready for use, after the necessary preparation of the supports, install in the joint at the required depth, a Sika JOINT FOUNDATION with a cross-section adapted to the width of the joint. Cut off the conical end of the cartridge tip on which the installation cannula is screwed. Then cut the bevel to the desired diameter. Apply the sealant as a continuous joint, avoiding any air inclusion with a manual, pneumatic gun or electric. Tighten the sealant against the substrates and immediately afterwards smooth the surface with a spatula before that a skin is formed, avoiding crushing the joint so that runoff water flows naturally. Use Sika products with caution. Before use, please consult the manufacturer's product manual available on the sika.com website.
