The coverage of application is pudding like and therefore there is barely any drippage, I actually colored my hair on the couch and not a splash anywhere! I used half the product to basically do a root job. I have really thick hair so it was almost not quite enough for that as I didn't get every section. But what was covered was done well and gray completely eliminated.
