I just used this to stick on the inside of my safe to store some mags in. It has velcro on the back which easily attaches to the fabric on my safe door. It had a piece of velcro covering the velcro on the back of the pouch which I took off when I stuck it on the safe door and put on the front flap so i could open it without picking up the safe. This is great and sturdy for carrying to the range or what i did. If your a mall ninja or looking for some sort of tactical mag pouch there is so much velcro on this you need a team of mules to open it and everyone within a mile will hear the velcro when you open it.
