I was looking at another one but so glad we chose the Sharper Image. I now understand why there are so many great reviews. The sound is excellent and the light show is great. I downloaded the desertcart music app and played great music from my iphone straight to the sound system and the bluetooth worked great. Also, the desertcart music app has the words for most of the songs and makes karaoke a blast (nice going desertcart). Great sound and, as long as you use the mic input, it will not cut out the music and you can adjust the sound and mic output to match. At one point the music was cutting out and I realized I had the mic plugged into the guitar input. So far, this is the best portable speaker/karaoke system we ever purchased. Review: Buyer Beware - I have used this unit once for a party when I first bought Aug 2015 and was really impressed with the sound. Battery held up wide open for almost 3 hours. Next time I used it for a tailgate party fully charged and the battery cut out after 1/2 hour and Bluetooth kept disconnecting I believe this had to do with the battery power. Unit does not hold a charge. Battery is the downfall of this unit. I have owned this for 19 months used it 2 times. Super fast shipping. The mic was not working and contacted seller who sent me a new one out the next day, shipping took like 1 week but was the holidays and in no way the sellers fault. Just christmas time. The seller was super great about standing up for the product they sold. I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again. The item is great, I think to loud (lol) but everyone has had a blast with this item. The light ball really adds in a dim room that bar feel.
