I knew that it would probably be cheaper to just buy another one, than to try and repair it. Afterall, it didn't have to be especially cute, but practical and functional. Since I am planning a family (beach) vacation for the summer, I PLAN to start working out (my motivation being a vision of me in a bathing suit). But I ALSO know that I need something else to motivate and inspire me....so listening to music or an audiobook will definitely do the trick. The Griffin Streamline appears to be perfect for my 3rd generation Nano. Believe it or not, I wasn't wrong or disappointed. The Streamline is reasonably priced, and definitely does the job. It even looks a lot like my first one (Belkin), with the exception that the portion that surrounds the face of the IPOD is framed by hard plastic. This is the only thing that I would warn the consumer about....over time, I could see the hard plastic that surrounds the face of the IPOD cracking. Anyway, I haven't had any trouble selecting or manipulating the IPOD. The only drawback is the fact that you have to turn the Nano upside down so that you can access the earbuds and charger. The Nano fits snuggly in the case and doesn't move. The armband is adjustable and comfortable. And because I don't really sweat, I don't think that I will have to worry about the condensation collecting, around or behind it. The pack is slightly padded and appears to offer just the right amount of protection. With the exception of having to flip the device upside down so that you can access the cords, for the price and for what I intend to do with this product, it is absolutely perfect. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars great for running *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2011* I use this for my i-pod for every run. Useful and foolproof; my one wish was that they put a small hole at the bottom for what I call the "safety" ie the switch that keeps the ipod from turning on - lost the battery charge one day when I couldn't (or didn't) put the safety on. My only complain is that I always keep my nano in an external case which didn't fit into the sleeve for the product. I can't say I'm surprised, but it is a little but of a pain to have to remove it from the case to fit it in.All-in all, it fit well and the band was large enough and fit snugly enough for running.
