I like electric coil stoves. Was totally turned off by descriptions of safety elements to prevent overheating (prevented cooking, many said) in new coil stoves. So, with fear & trepidation, ordered this. Hardest part was getting old element out, but only because none of the many videos I watched said to use 1/4” socket bit thingy on my electric drill. All the videos showed Phillips screws, which I didn’t have. I even pulled the oven out, revealing totally gross floor underneath, but, after taking parts of back off, realized had to be done from front. But I did clean floor and sides of oven, so not all bad! Once I got everything straight, the process was easy and worked like a charm. Turn off the breaker, watch a video and have at it! Works like a charm.
