Review: Good quality - I read some bad reviews but I’d have say that the batch I got was very good. It melts great, pours great, I always use a fluxing compound and it was pretty pure.
Review: Melts Easy - I was paying $0.13 to $0.20 apiece for lead balls for my black powder revolvers, and nearly $1 per shot for my Colt 45. I bought this bulk lead ingots so I could cast my own balls and conical bullets. Now lead balls are $0.06 apiece, while conical slugs are $0.10.

**Q: Pure lead or Alloy?  If alloy, whats the  makeup?**
A: It’s been a while however, if I recall there was approximately a pound and a half of slag after smelting and cleaning. I got a total of 13 to 14 pounds of clean lead.

**Q: The description says 15 lead, i see 10 .5lbs pieces and 5 approximately 1lb pieces, is the picture exactly what you receive or is it just approximate?**
A: The picture is not representative to what you receive, you just get 15 lbs some as 1lb and some as .5 lbs. It does equal out to 15 though

I was a little apprehensive at first as I only received 13 ingots (supposed to be 15 # of lead and they were supposed to be 1# ingots), bu5 I weighed the box on an accurate digital scale and it weighed out at 15.4# so these are each a little over a pound. I haven't used any yet but it all appears to be good clean lead, and it shipped out very quickly by USPS priority mail. Will get more soon from this seller.
