Review: Nice build, though a bit complicated - My 8 1/2 year old usually blasts through Lego builds, this one was a bit tough for him and he needed some help building it. It took us a while which was kind of nice to draw out the project during the holidays so we broke it up a few pages a day. **Q: Do directions come with it?**
A: this is a gift which I haven't opened.  But I can tell you that in previous boxes of the same type, the answer has been yes.  It does come with instructions.

**Q: Are these compatible with Lego brand blocks?**
A: hi, thank you for your question. it's similar to Lego sets and instructions, although not the same. And it can carry lego mini figures.
