One drives a pair of 12' pioneer dual voice coil subs wired 2ohms in the hatch and have never had an overheating problem! The second amp is in the hatch but drives a pair of 8" Pioneer DVC subs wired 2 ohms in the doors. The 8s sound almost like a snare ( the factory paper ones did not). The amps preform wonderfully. I have a Premier (Pioneer) cd head unit with Pioneer 4 ways in the doors by the subs and Pioneer 2 way speakers in the back seat. There is only one major downfall with my system! I don't always hear the radar detector :( I've been stuck on Pioneer for many years and have tried others here and there but none match up to Pioneers longevity and quality! I was comparing the unit to several Pioneer amps. I wanted a complete Pioneer system in my car so that all the components would be designed to work together. At 760 watts, it was double what I really needed to "bump" my Pioneer sub. I found that this unit was more versatile for a few more dollars then a smaller-mono amp and even though it is a 2-way amp, it could be wired mono or 2-channel? The instructions were easy to follow. Finding a location was difficult, it would not fit under the seats of my car. I ened up moving to the rear of my S.U.V. I used a Scorsh amp install kit from Walmart, it was the cheapest place to get an wiring kit that had all the stuff I needed to get my amp powered up. The unit does just want I needed it to do & is more versatile then what I was origingally going to buy. The only downer was having to locate the amp in the rear of the S.U.V.
