## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the paper backing need to be removed?  It covers an adhesive that would be difficult to remove?**
A: The print bed itself has no adhesive or paper backing. The paper backing is on the flexible magnet that you can use to stick to your printer's existing bed, and then place the flexible print surface on the magnet. You will need to remove the paper backing to expose the adhesive if you want to use this stick-on magnet. The adhesive would be very hard to remove. But, if you already have a steel print bed, you can just place the flexible magnetic part on it, and not use the other part. The part with the adhesive is only for printers that have plastic or aluminum beds that a magnet won't stick to.

**Q: what temperature does the bet need to be at so the print doesn't get hopelessly stuck to the flex plate?  we are using standard PLA**
A: I print most PLA at 210C... No bed heat... no problems! Sounds like you might be getting first layer too close... when that happens you will get “stuck” to most any surface... It is possible you got a bad one too... I had one, of the many I’ve purchased. It’s not common, but possible... try raising nozzle just a bit!

**Q: Is this the same stock one that comes with ender 3 pro? with the dragon head and ender text? the images show otherwise.**
A: I have the Ender 5.  The magnetic flexible bed cover on the stock version of the Ender 5 also comes with the "dragon head" logo.  This bed cover has no "dragon head" logo and is not as magnetic as the stock version and does not adhere to the build plate as well.  Dimensionally it fits as well as the stock bed cover.    Based on the weak magnetic adhesion I won't buy another of this version.

**Q: is there a max temperator ?**
A: I cannot find any max temperature specifications for this product. I have not had any problems with it so far, but some people have said that at higher temperatures, particularly with PETG, it adheres so strong to the surface that it destroys the build bed.
