So glad to find them here! *by M***A on May 20, 2014* I have really missed these cookies since moving from Wisconsin, and even when I go back, they seem to be missing from the store where I used to buy them. I was overjoyed to find them here, and also to find out that they are the same cookies as the Salerno Mint Cookies that I remember from my childhood. (See earlier reviewer's note).I agree with the others, that either refrigerating or freezing them is the way to goThese are the best cookie in the world. My opinion hasn't changed since I was a kid.I do think they are overpriced, but I am going to go for it anyway.Addendum: Be careful when ordering them during the summer. Mine arrived melted as the weather changed rapidly in the few days since I put in my order. The company was very nice about giving me a credit for the order.The few that hadn't melted into puddles (that Texas heat is a killer) I was able to stick in the freezer, and they were unchanged from the delicious cookies I remembered.This is my second addendum: I just noticed that these are gluten-free. That is very surprising to me, and I really want to buy some more. My husband liked them for this reason (he is not a big fan of mint) but I love my mint flavor very strong, and this was not at all up to my expectations.
