Review: Great collar but first one was replaced by customer service - Great product once a new one was shipped! The first order I received the collar it had a 3-5 second lag time between when the remote was used and the collar reacted. I worked with customer service and was shipped a new one. The new collar works great with no lag! The remote is very easy to use and small. The vibrating feature works well and the range of strength for the shock is easily adjustable. I have seen great results in under 3 weeks!

After 2 years of ownership and daily use, it still works and charges beautifully. I acclimated Gracie to "the zapper" by letting her know that a very low level zap (this is why I love the Dogtra) could be stopped immediately by doing what was asked. This took 15 min of training total for 2 days. She now only requires the vibration, which she knows will lead to a zap if she doesn't recall when out of sight on the trail, or when she plays too roughly with other dogs. She wags and gets excited to get this collar on as she knows it means crazy running, fun times, and being the Trixie Belden hound dog she is in the wild. I paired the collar with the comfort adapter [ASIN: B004HDZP9M] without prongs so they don't dig into her neck. The collar still functions perfectly and provides a smooth point of contact. Overall, well worth the money if you educate yourself on how to use it, and you reliably know it's not going to short out or shock the dog without your knowledge. Do you homework, be kind and patient and communicative and start with the absolute lowest setting to get the response you would like.

**Q: Is it possible to add multiple remotes to this system, i.e. more than one remote that both control the collars?**
A: Yes. Dogtra's ARC is a 1 dog system, an expandable to 2 Dog System. The 280C and TOM DAVIS EDITION 280C are one dog systems only. The 282C is a 2-Dog System.

**Q: What size bungee collar is compatible with this unit if I would like to buy another aftermarket one?**
A: The TOM DAVIS EDITION 280C has a collar strap of 3/4” inches by 28” inches. Dogtra offers the TOM DAVIS EDITION BUNGEE COLLAR, which is compatible with Dogtra’s 3/4” inch models, including TOM DAVIS EDITION 280C, 280C, 200C, iQ MINI, iQ PLUS, iQ VIBE, and PATHFINDER MINI models. **Q: This product was recommended to me, but I have a 90 pound german shepherd. Can this be used for big dogs as well?**
A: I too have a (I think about a 90 pound)  pitbull . and boy can he be stubborn and hardheaded at times.  but the minute I mention the word “collar” whoo -  does he straighten his butt up right now!! but I put it on him not every day but on the days when he’s just being stubborn and not listening, and then he’ll be good for another few days because he doesn’t want the collar on . I love it and I keep mine about 20 to 23 for him
