I first got them for my kids but ended up using them myself as well. They allow u to fill them with with water and use with watercolor paints. When u push the button, a lil water is fed through to the bristles of the brushes and allows u to mix ur dry watercolors. This also allows u to make ur own colors by mixing paints easily.
