It is far cheaper than buying citric acid sold under various brand names. If you want to know if this will help keep your glassware clean and sparkling, clean your dishwasher with a gallon of vinegar used over a week. Then do a normal wash in dishwasher and add some Crystal lemonade (citric acid) a couple of times. If your glasses are sparkling, but this citric acid and use it in the second wash container of every load of dishes.
