One slot is marked as 1A and the second slot is 2A. It does have a small led light bulb on the unit which can be used as a flashlight or you can have it turned on to blink.As for charging other devices, I was able to charge a completely dead iPad 2 to 20% with this device in about 75 minuts and I was down to 4 bars on the charger from a total of 5 bars. At this rate, this could have fully charged the iPad with the available power in the charger in 6+ hours.This certainly can keep any hungry smartphones happy for many hours after their own battery has been depleted. As compact as it may be, it is not something you can just put in your back pocket. However, if you carry a backpack or a purse, it will be easy enough to toss it in and know you have backup power when you need it.As with any rechargeable batteries, the big question is how many times can this be charged before the battery goes? ### ⭐ Beware of TOCCs *by U***T on Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2015* Defective structurally.
