They grab stuff well, the spring is strong, the lock works well, the handle grips well, and the two different sizes are also convenient for different types of cooking. I also have the pasta spoon and the quality is just as good. I'm always skeptical about stuff made in China, but after reading that the owner regularly visits the factory to ensure the quality control is where it should be and seeing every Chef Frog item has a review of 4.9 or 5.0 (higher than the made in USA tongs), I decided to try them out. I have not a single thing that I would try to improve. These are basically perfect.Chef Frog, keep up the good work.
