Unlike high porosity hair which absorbs products & moisture easily & looses them easily. So you must be careful to balance protein with moisture & to avoid using too much protein too often. Too much or too frequent protein treatments can lead to protein overload that cause brittle, fragile hair that breaks. Once per month protein treatments are good for you unless your beautician tells you that you need more protein due to some circumstances.
