In addition to this, there are 512 bytes of SRAM for storing application-specific information and 64 bytes for calibration data. The DS1922L is configured and communicates with a host computing device through the serial 1-Wire protocol, which requires only a single data lead and a ground return. I was able to set missions up to measure at various intervals and at different temperature ranges without any issues. I like the fact that it works inside a food product without any wires or large electronic reading devices. You just toss or push it into a product and away it goes, just be sure to mark your sample so it's easy to retrieve. Then you just plug it in and export it onto Excel and you're good to go. Upper management likes the graphs and the multiple data points. I got the extra iButtons in case I lose one or if I want to measure multiple products.
