This also acts a button to switch through the modes. The usb button does seem a little delicate so I'm going to have to be careful with it as I'm not sure how durable it is.Don't forget the usb is not for charging and is for just powering the lights. I used a usb battery charger to power them today but I'll be powering using the mains during most of November and December.As the company that supplies these is based in China, Amazon were unable to offer a replacement hook and offered me a return, which I didn't want. They then offered me a part "credit note" to spend on a future purchase. They were very tangled at first and it took a bit of patience to get them untangled!
