Tisbe biminiensis is the smallest in our line of zooplankton, ranging from 50-1000 µm in size from naupuli to adult. This makes it an excellent food source for SPS corals as well as dragonets and mandarins. Review: Great product for starting pod culture so - Pods arrived as expected. Lots of life in the bottle. I split the bottle into 4 separate mason jars and started cultures. I have more pods than my mandarin can eat. None of my cultures have crashed. I started feeding phytofeast(concentrated dead phytoplankton) the first few weeks which left a large amount of waste at the bottom of the culture requiring more cleaning. Once I had my live phytoplankton cultures up and running i cleaned the jars and transfers the four mason jars into two 1/2 gallon jars. I have two half gallon jar of phyto culture running and two half gallon jars of pod culture running. Nothing has crashed yet. I have so many pods in my 29 gallon bow front that it clouds the water and I have to scrub the glass to have a crystal view. Only pod predator that I have is a mandarin that is very fat and and always hungry. If you do your research before ordering these and don’t rush you WILL be successful Also note that when I cleaned my pod culture and started using live vs dead phyto my pods reproduced noticeably faster within a week with ALOT less waste Hope this helps! On my 2nd order pods arrived in excellent condition...seller packed cold pack in plastic bag as requested...I will be regular customer if orders stay same price and high number of pods stays the same..
