However, I did not want to rate them down for my own failings in choosing them. If you have wide feet and these wide feet are swollen DO NOT buy ANYTHING that is not not especially made for a width wide. Even though the opening does expand....the shoe bed does not and what will happen is that you won’t be able to close the shoe, thus making it difficult to walk. It is mostly the shoe industry today...that wants to mass produce etc. etc. that is at fault. So now I don’t buy words that say “wide” anymore but that being said, these are, otherwise nice slippers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great slipper for swollen feet or feet with Ace wrap *by T***R on April 21, 2019* Bought this slipper for my 92 year-old father who recently needed Ace bandage wraps for his swollen legs and feet. With the wrap on, his feet are very wide and so bought an extra wide and long slipper which perfectly meets his need and are very comfortable and easy to get on and off. He sometimes has swollen feet because of medical issues. With the velcro across the top of the foot they can be altered and changed. So if his feet are swollen they are still able to close and are comfortable. We went with two pair because he will use 1/4 in the house and another pair for wearing outside to appointments and such.
