No problem to make 2nd batch. It's quick. Beautiful stainless steel. Looks so good I keep it as a permanent fixture on my stove. Very easy to use/open. Smooth screw on top. Cool to the touch handle. Pure stainless thick steel, solid construction, strong hard to dent coffee basket. Delicious perfect coffee and and a fast no leak pour. All of my aluminum moka pots were leaky when pouring. I had to pour over the sink. No more! I bought 3 stainless steel pots: Alessi, Inteca Bon Bivo and this one, the Aurun Espresso Maker. For sure I'm keeping this one.One thing, while the slender base is attractive and easy to handle, its almost too small for the burner that I want to use it on. I use my induction burner no problem, but my butane one I jave to balance it on. I could use a metal cooktop thingy to make it a flat surface, but I usually don't.2023 update: I've had it 7 years now. Its resiliant and cleans up well except for the outside of bottom is colored from it being on a butane burner having direct fire. Maybe it can be cleaned. It would take smarts cuz effort isn't getting it done. I'm ok with it. All fits well, lid is great, screw on base screws so well I can spin it closed. I use it at home and take on road with me. They have obviously really thought out every detail here: the top is 304 stainless, the bottom 400 series (magnetic enough for induction stovetops, though I didn't try one), both match, are not at all flimsy, and have a really attractive spun finish and a pretty design. The basket is also stainless--no aluminum here, if you're worried about supposed Alzheimer implications. On a gas burner the sides near the bottom started to scorch a bit, so, after the baking soda solution I looked all over and found the perfect "elevator" to sit on the range's "tines" and raise the espresso maker's height, a GrillMark Beer Can Chicken Holder, about $9 Amazon Prime, or $7 at my local Ace Hardware. The fake wood handle is nice, but can get a little toastier than whatever the old, black handles were made of. Whichever stove set-up you have, try it first with a pot-holder just to be sure.
