However, the head tube was too wide at its base so I had to file it down before it would accept the lower bearing race. More importantly, the internal shock damping (resistance) is very high and there is no damping adjustment knob. One can of course reduce the air pressure to soften the shock but I'm talking about the damping which keeps the shock from popping back too fast after being compressed. One can work around this by removing the lock-out knob, rotating the nut all the way counterclockwise, and reinstalling the lock-out knob. Of course you will no longer be able to lock-out the shock but that's a lot better than having it over dampened. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great fork and value *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2020* I didn't expect much since I've usually bought Fox or RockShox at 3 times the cost. Since I tend to abuse my bike and wanted to save some money I thought WTH, take a chance and try lower cost hardware. So, to summarize, this is a great addition, travel is really nice and tuning the stiffness via air pressure is no big deal. It compares with Fox with the exception of rebound but honestly, I seldom notice the difference. I'd recommend this fork without reservation regardless of your level of experience. ### ⭐ Would NOT recommend *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2020* I purchased this product for a custom build that I am doing. Received what was clearly a used fork. One of the seals for the suspension was broken so hydraulic oil was all over the forks. There was a chip on each side where it looks like the forks possibly were in a wreck. Also there is wearing on the up tube like it had been used. Requested a refund and going with a different brand. It was difficult to initiate the return and now I have to pay to ship it back.
