My carbon filter is also still is in almost new condition when I checked at nearly 2 years. Unfortunately, I don't have a Gallon count, so I am unsure of the exact usage. The only thing I would probably do differently if I had to set this up all over would likely be to is to order the 100 micron filter rather than the 50. I have pretty sediment filled water, so the filter can clog up very fast with the smaller size. I should let the rest of my filters do more work as intended as currently the pre filter can clog up faster than the automatic flush can clean it at times (flushes daily for 15 seconds).
