The handle is hollow plastic and is extremely light so you won’t get much downward force unless you really push the knife - even then, the knife sometimes bends to find a path of less resistance, and you end up with curved slices of vegetables.Upon sharpening the blade, I discovered the matte black coating disappeared leaving silver scratches over the knife - and also from heavy use of the handle, my hands turned orange from (I presume) the dye on the plastic - my hands were orange for a couple days before finally returning to normal.Long story short, these knives are not suitable for pro chefs however if you are a home cook you might find these perfect as they’re comfortable and light and aesthetically pleasing, they’re nice looking knives - but not good quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good value for the price, but the handle is not great. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 October 2019* The blades are fine, but I didn't test them. I don't like the handle and that's enough for a decision to return these. The main issue is the handle is very light. This makes me wonder how long it will last before the handle and blades part their ways.
