Review: Very clean/ coarse - On my new plant based adventure I came across Bulgur. I got tired of buying the little bags sold at my local grocery store, $3.65 USD for an 8.8 oz organic bag. Found this brand and it's just as good as the one I bought locally. Coarse grains. No bugs! Just clean bulgur. What I've learned is that grains , like bulgur , are bland. You have to season it to make it tasty. This cooked very well with my added seasonings. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, or pescetarian, but i am diabetic which made me search for rice substitutes. So far bulgur is my favorite grain/rice substitute. I can eat it and not worry that i will be sleepy later on because of bad carbs. Wish they would sell this size locally. But in the meantime will buy this brand again!! Update: I noticed this bag contains all size of bulgur grains. Bulgur wheat is numbered 1-4. As i have continued to use this product turns out not all the grains are a 4 which is coarse. It does appear as they threw all the different grain sizes in this bag.
