There is a version of this case that comes with a peel away foam insert that will allow the 15" retina macbook pro to fit snugly in the case. I am not sure but I think it ends in BC or something versus the CC of this case. I have this 1095CC case and a retina 15" macbook, the only way it fits without bouncing around all over inside the case is with a foam pies that works well enough to keep it from knocking around inside. **Q: How watertight is this case?** A: It close pretty tight on the front of the case. But nos so well on the sides. I can say that it is water-splash proof but not submergible.
