Review: It's a Seiko.. Nuff said. - It's a nice, heavy, comfortable, masculine watch with an easy to read face and Day/Date. A bit larger and heavier than my Omega Speedster Mk2, and that is a substantial watch. I like the mesh strap. I have no idea how good the waterproofing is. I usually remove my watches before doing dishes, having a bath or shower. At 70 I don't expect to dive deeper than 100 metres again in my life. My only very slight gripe is you really have to pay attention to the clasp. If you haven't checked it's locked, it can come adrift later. I do prefer the fold over and click type that I have on my smaller white faced Seiko Sea Urchin. There is a blue faced version of the same watch at nearly £70 more than I paid for this. (What's with the pricing guys?) I would have bought but definitely not disappointed with this.

Has kept time perfectly for the two weeks that I've had it. Excellent lume. One issue is the chapter ring is misaligned, a common issue for Seiko watches. Looking past this, the watch is superb.

**Q: Does it have sapphire crystal screen**
A: No, it is fitted with Hardlex glass. Hardlex is Seiko's own type of glass. It's generally thought to be better than mineral glass, but not as good as sapphire glass. It's not as scratch resistant as sapphire, but is less prone to shattering if struck by a hard object.

**Q: does the street one have lume dial**
A: The indices and hands have usual good Seiko lume which lasts through the night. The bezel is not lumed.

**Q: On the srpd71k2 model in the photo what's at the day/date??**
A: It's Roman numeral from 1 to 7 but it has it in English too so not to worry. Most seikos have dual ones like French/ English or Japanese/English etc. All you have to do is set to English.

**Q: Hi. What type of pins are there in the bracelet?**
A: Straight pins with a burr ,will only tap out one way which is indicated by arrows. Easily adjusted with a small electrical screw driver if you haven't the correct tool.

Lovely looking watch didn’t disappoint when I opened it up. Seen some comments about accuracy but so far haven’t lost any time or had to make any adjustments. I know it’s lost some of its spec from the previous model like it’s water resistance and screw down crown it’s still a lovely watch to wear on any occasion.
