I wanted to have one that looks nice, displayed my photos crystal clear, had the right photo ratio and was fairly easy to use.I have had this frame only a couple of days, if my review should change in the future I will come back and update it.Things I like about this frame:1. It looks nice. The frame is similar to your standard picture frame, and has a white mat, which is one of the reasons I purchased this one.2. Set up was pretty easy, and the fact that it's a touch screen made it even easier.3. There are several ways to transfer photos to the frame. there's an app to put on your phone that allows you to directly send 9 photos at a time from your phone to the frame. You can use an FTP server and transfer photos from your personal computer or laptop oh, I have not tried this yet. You are also able to transfer photos using an email address. One of the reasons I chose this frame is because you are not given an email address, you can choose your own. You do use their domain of course, that's how it works correctly. You do have to send a setup email out prior to this method working.4. There are the perfect amount of options. There's not too many to be overwhelming, but there's enough to make the frame your own. You can choose what type of transition between photos, making it random or the same one. You can have the photo fill up the whole frame, or keep its original size. You can decide how many minutes or seconds it is before the slideshow begins. You can decide how long each photo stays displayed on the picture frame.5. For pictures that do not take up the entire frame, there is a blurred border around those photos, it looks very nice.6. There's a music feature, which I don't currently use, but I could see how it could be nice to have some music playing in the background.7. You can set the time that you want the frame to turn on and turn off, then it's not always running. I sent mine to run only during the day, and turn off at night while we're sleeping.8. The picture quality is amazing. Remember whatever the original picture quality is, will show up on the screen. If you send low-quality pictures, they're not going to look nice on the screen.9. The amount of storage seems ample. My photos are taken with the professional camera and the file sizes are extremely large. I was able to upload a lot of photos, and still have a lot of space left for more.10. There is a SD card slot, so you can expand on the amount of storage, should the internal storage not be enough.11. There's a USB port, that will allow you to use a flash drive.12. This particular size of frame is the perfect size to be able to see the pictures well from at least ten feet away.I like this frame so much, I may purchase a second having another room of my home.this photo frame has a home screen, the home screen can be something you keep up for a very long time if that's what you prefer to view. The home screen has three photos in the upper left-hand screen that rotate in a grid. The rest of the screen shows your weather and has other options available. I purchased it to view pictures, so I have the default sent to starting the photo slideshow with in 15 seconds. The home screens nice to have if you want to tap on the screen and view what's your weather is for the day. The screen also has alarms and other options that I will not choose to use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Photo Frame. *by W***Y on May 15, 2021* The media could not be loaded. I'm really happy with this purchase. I bought my wife a frame for her travel pictures and I decided to get this one for my nature pictures and videos. I'm not the instruction book kind - so I just set it up using their interface and phone app. It was very simple and straight-forward to configure (I do enforce access control through my router so there was an extra step but no real delays). Configuring the frame itself and downloading the android app was also effortless. I do have fat fingers and my skin tends to be oily; so all touch screens take a little extra effort for me. Loading the pictures via the phone app was easy; I was unclear for a few minutes on how to caption the picture (remember, I'm not an instruction book kinda guy). But after a moment of thought, it was fine. At the time I'm writing this, I've loaded 20 pics and 2 videos. Next I attach a thumb drive with photos and videos. The videos ran one after the other without issue; a picture will sometimes require rotation; the steps to do this are shown in the video. You should also get a sense of the picture quality (night photos and very colorful photos from Sweden). The videos also run one after the other (as you should see with our hummingbird visitor).Overall, I'm pleased. Its easy to configure, the android phone app works allowing you to load and caption 9 things at a time. The display is great (you could see all of the stars in Orion and some of the bright colors from our travels).file ofSuggested improvements: captioning is a brilliant feature - is it possible to import a file of captions? Also it would be nice to display videos and photos together rather than running them separately. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Setup is not easy, but once accomplished, operation is very easy *by C***N on November 14, 2019* The English manual and online help were barely useable. I worked for over three hours trying to follow the instructions and could not complete the install. Finally, after multiple retries and finding the help web site online (several of the manual email and web addresses were dead ends, but one was good), it suddenly accepted my new user set up and then worked great. Basically, on my iPad with the app on it, I select up to 9 photos at a time (no more!), hit the airplane email symbol to China, and the photos appear a few seconds later on the frame. I also tried emailing them outside the app, and this was easy too. At one point, deep in frustration, I finally found a correct address for email support, and not long after this "Mary" responded. She was very knowledgeable, and better in English, and gave me very simple and easy to understand instructions to follow to set it up for my sister to email photos to the frame. Once these instructions were received from Mary, I felt comfortable with the process. Honestly, before her emails, I would have given this a one-star review for difficulty of set up. I'm still not sure why it suddenly worked after refusing me for several hours! Now, I am happy with the purchase. The picture quality is excellent. Once successfully set up, the process is simple to add pictures or videos. I bought this for my elderly mom, and honestly, if I hadn't set it up myself, I think it would have ended up in a box in the corner.
