It worked well, but we had a couple of issues:- The screw that is provided for the GoPro clamp is not stainless and rusted the first time we took it in the ocean. I tossed it and repalced it with a spare GoPro screw that I had on hand.- The Go-Pro clamp inserts into the collapsible shaft of the monopod with an interference fit. On several occasions, when I was attaching the GoPro the head came off in my hands. I use a Floaty door on my case, so I was not at risk of losing my camera when underwater.Overall, a fun accessory that works reasonably well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great selfie kit for the price *by V***B on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on January 10, 2015* This selfie kit was pretty good, although it wasn't the best I've seen. For the price, can't really beat it though. The attachment for the GoPro is excellent and is very tight. The cell phone selfie attachment however is the reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. The small rubber piece on the top that holds the phone in has a tendency to fall out if the user isn't careful. The grip will hold a phone without a case securely however once a phone is used that has a case on it, with a little movement here and there, it'll fall out. Needs to be designed to hold it much better.Overall, pretty happy with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Second Update 8/5/14 - Broke right away *by T***H on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 27, 2014* I bought this monopod for several reasons: I liked the length and the base can be mounted on a standard camera mount. The problem is that when I went to tighten the knob that controls the pivot angle, the knob broke right off - and I hadn't even gotten a chance to mount the camera yet! Other thoughts are that when fully extended, it's not super sturdy, but i wouldn't consider it flimsy, though. I'm sending this back for a replacement - hopefully the next one won't break.7/1/14 UpdateOn June 10 I received an email from Pioneer Marketing Products about my experience with the GoPro Monopod."Thank you for your product feedback. We do understand that some of our product had a part defect, and we have justmodified it. Would you like to have a free replacement to give a try to our newly modifiedmonopod?" I replied, "That would be very kind of you. Thank you." They sent me a new, modified version of the monopod.As you can see from the product pictures, a dedicated GoPro mount is now directly attached to the monopod telescoping rod, thus eliminating the faulty knob the caused the original problem. After I received the free replacement, PMP called me directly to see if I had received the replacement and asked for my feedback on the improvement. I told them that I liked the new design and thought it would work well. The only adjustment they need to make is to supply a longer mount thumbscrew with the monopod so that the end knob sticks out past the body of the GoPro housing. The short thumbscrew they supplied with the monopod is difficult to adjust as the knob rubs against the camera housing when you try to tighten or loosen it. That is the only reason I now rate the monopod at 4 stars instead of 5. After PMP reads my updated review, I would not be surprised if they sent me a longer replacement thumbscrew to remedy this problem. Their customer service is impressive!8/5/14 Latest UpdateAs I predicted, PMP did send me a longer replacement thumbscrew after my previous feedback! They also stated that they were changing their shipments to include the longer thumbscrew with all their monopods now. You rarely see customer service like this today. I've now changed my rating to 5 stars!
