I’ll make it really easy for you. Just buy this one. Just do it.This is amazing Erythritol. I’ve had ok stuff, great stuff, stuff that you should maybe use as wall filler and this is the best you will get.Erythritol Is a sugar alcohol, however out of all of the sugar alcohols Erythritol is the best One. A lot of sugar alcohols give you the runny bum or the shart worries Alsosome sugar alcohols also can be broken down into sugar making them not only a stomach churning bum disaster but will not do you any good in terms of limiting your sugar intake. Erythritol will not increase your sugar levels, in large amounts may cause a stirring in the stomach, but personally I’d have to consume a lot for this to happen.You can make simple syrups easily. However with granulated it will recrystallise, so watch out for that, you can mitigate this with the amount of water in the syrup & powdering it. There is information on this out in the internet.Cakes, cookies, even breads And pasteries. Works a treat. If it calls for sugar, you can use Erythritol. Although remember, it’s 70% the sweetness of sugar, so you will need to up the amount by 30%.For people bad at math times the amount of sugar in a recipe by 1.3 to get the Erythritol amount. I know that sounds patronising to some, but I get asked math questions a lot.However remember as Erythritol Is a sugar alcohol and as such will burn very quickly. Cookies will seem raw and soft, but they will continue to cook and harden after they are removed from the oven. It took me ages to work that out, they would come out raw and I’d put them back in and they would set themselves a light. Whoosh. Fire. Smoke. But the cookies were raw :/ they harden after you remove them. Take them out. Leave them to cool, really nice cookies.Erythritol has a cool almost menthol taste, this is a sugar alcohol thing. Xylitol is worse for this, it can be over come with different flavours and using the correct amounts. Like I make a sweet chilli sauce with Erythritol, no menthol taste at all. Just need to use it correctly.If you are diabetic, Keto or just looking to substitute sugar, give this a go. It’s the cheapest goof quality one you will get.I buy it in 4.5kg rubs and if you are using a lot you should too.P.S the company hasn’t paid me to be so in love with their product. If they ever want to give me Erythritol for free.
