I remember peeling so many potatoes the night before a family gathering and using clean refrigerator drawers to make and store that much potato salad. My adult children are the 4th generation to make potato salad this way. I remember when the stores started to quit selling it and my mom and aunt would panic going from store to store to find any bottles of it and when they did they bought them all.
