I know some reviewers have had issues with theirs not fitting, but I must've gotten one of the good ones because it fit in there fine. It washes easily and it's quite durable -- we've had it for months and it's still in perfect shape. I don't drink coffee myself, but I'm told by him that the mesh is quite fine and very few (if any) coffee grounds get through. Recommended ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not perfect, but it still deserves 5* for its durability *by A***R on April 25, 2026* 50 uses later and the mesh is still strong. No signs of sagging or stretching from the pressure of using the aeropress. If you expect it to filter the fine particles, you will be disappointed. It can get to within 85% of the filtering capabilities of a paper filter. The best quality of the filter is its reusability. If I get nitpicky, the thickness of the metal rim is thicker than a regular filter so you are not able to twist the filter holder on easily.
