This is the second one I've tried and so far I'm pleasantly surprised. My hair is naturally dark brown but I have about 50% grey hair now so as I'm only in my 30's, I still like to keep it brown, but until last year I wasn't aware of ppd free hair dye and thought after years of dying with henna (once you are 50% it doesn't really cover anymore and looks ginger which isn't my colour unfortunately), I would just have to go with my grey hair which didn't really suit my young personality or the fact that I look quite young for my age. I tried one hair dye last year, which was great but as this one is semi-permanent rather than permanent, I thought I'd try a darker colour. It looks fab. Also my hair is surprisingly not dry, which is great.*Just to note, I did a patch test, more stringently than you should as I did a 3cm squared patch and left on for an hour as I don't want to risk a reaction, which is especially important as being allergic to ppd means I'm more likely to develop an allergy to similar chemicals. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not bad! *by K***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 August 2018* I guess what attracted me was the ammonia free formula.
