Review: No complaints - I had a tumor removed recently and my surgeon told me I had to wear a jock for six weeks. My doctor is a nice woman, but she said this so matter-of-factly as if all of us dudes keep a jock or two in our sock drawer. I don’t. I was able to rotate them and wash them often and prevent any funk whatsoever. I hadn’t worn a jock in I guess about 19 years (since that’s how old my youngest kid is) when I had my vasectomy. I remember it being very uncomfortable and unpleasant. I don’t know if jock technology has advanced since then or if this assortment is just a more premium design. These were plenty comfortable and the colors were a nice touch. It really didn’t bother me to wear these. Or maybe having a tumor removed shifted my perspective and the little things don’t bother me anymore. (BTW – It turns out it was benign. Hallelujah!) I’m done wearing the jocks now and hopefully I won’t need to anymore. But as much of a nuisance as it is to have to wear one, the design and fabric of these were pretty nice and really didn’t annoy me like I had expected. Order a size up! I had to and what a waste. Washed them and put them in the dryer. They're 90% cotton so naturally they're gonna shrink in the dryer. I now need to order a large and i'm a 31 inch waste. **Q: What size is best for waist size 34?** A: These have a good amount of stretch and are ample in the pouch. I have a 40 waist and do the XL, if I was 34, I'd probably go down to Medium. These are the most comfortable jocks. **Q: Does this have a pouch for a cup?I pitch and wear a cup** A: No pouch for a cup. Ment to be light support / underwear. **Q: Working in hot humid conditions for 12 hours a day would these be comfortable and able to keep the boys dry** A: I can say that the pouch is exceedingly soft and comfortable, and creates an effective barrier between legs and junk. I love the feel of these versus regular underwear. That said, there is nothing comfortable or dry about hot, humid conditions. The straps are not loose and the pouch fits well. I’m average sized and it keeps things exactly where they should be without feeling loose. I think these are fine for men with a larger endowment too. More importantly, they are soft and stretchy, so they are good for every day wear too. I prefer jock straps over briefs or boxers and these work well as an alternative to standard underwear. Honestly, they’re more comfortable than most underwear that I’ve ever worn. I don’t go to a gym or do any jogging or running, but I suspect that these are fine for athletic wear as well. Again, everything stays in place, so they should be fine for athletes. Besides the comfort, the narrow waistband is fantastic. It’s so much better than other brands with larger waistbands. I don’t praise many things highly, but I highly recommend these jock straps both as an athletic supporter and for daily wear. They are just that comfortable.
