Ive charged it over night and it doesnt light up. I havent tried batteries** A: It only lights up if you keep it plugged in. It’s not a charger just a plug. Wife and daughter are very pleased with this product but the description was slightly wrong on the site as it had less LEDs (40 stated on box) and doesn't pivot 360 degrees (it pivots from vertical to horizontal as you'd expect) I don't know if they have updated the description since my feedback but Its a great product up to now (bought at xmas) **Q: Does this work when just charged up with the cable and no batteries?** A: You have to keep the it plugged in for the lights to work - the cable doesn't serve as a charger. Overall I love this mirror, i’m a very happy customer! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A little awkward but a good mirror overall *by J***K on 26 February 2023* The mirror has a few handy magnification levels, but the magnification mirrors are both on the left and the lower one is hard to use, it would have been better if they'd put one on each side instead. I like the multiple brightness settings - you press and hold the power button to change the brightness, which is a little unintuitive but works fine. This is too big and bulky for travelling with, but works well for home use. It's definitely light enough to move around the house as needed.
