Review: Good value for money - I am using it for few weeks and cannot complain. I do a lot of stuff and have many apps on my phone, still it is fast and works with no issues. If you don't mind heavier phone and EU charger (got myself UK fast charger separately and it works super quick) Battery holds quite long. I would recommend without hesitation. Really decent phone, good value for money.

**Q: Does this have a slot for an external micro SD card?**
A: Yes

**Q: is this a uk moddel or a eu or even rest of world grey import without offical warrenty?**
A: I don't know where you get the "without official warranty" bit from, but it seems to be an EU model, as that's the charger type it comes with.  I have no doubt the warranty cover is just the same as if it was a UK specific model.  If there's ever a problem with it, I would get in touch with Amazon for a resolution since they are the seller.

**Q: Is this UK or European model phone?**
A: It is European, it comes with an EU 2 pin plug.
It says it's compatible with European SIM cards including EEA, which we are part of.

**Q: does it have the quad sound Dac onboard ?.**
A: no

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ridiculously wide notch aside, a very nice phone.

I like the big battery, the decent amount of RAM and storage and the OLED screen is nice too. The Google assistant button seems a bit pointless to me, though it can be disabled, it's frustrating that it couldn't be reassigned to something I find more useful. My main gripe with this phone is the enormous "notch". Honestly it would be better described as a channel. It covers at least 70% of the width of the top of the screen. What's left on either side is a very small area weirdly referred to as "New Second Screen" in the settings. Unfortunately, this tiny amount of space is no-where near enough for the notification bar to fit in and you are given no options to relocate the notification bar anywhere else to make it more useful. The result is that besides the clock (which I haven't worked out how to turn off), the WiFi Status, the phone network indicator and the battery icon, there's only enough space left for 2, that's right, JUST 2 NOTIFICATIONS. LG could fix this problem in the software by extending the notification area below the notch, and I have made this suggestion. As it is, this limitation is infuriating. The Always on Display (AOD) is a small part of the OLED display which stays active while the rest is off to save battery in standby. It shows the clock, the day/date and a few notification icons. Here, we have the luxury of 3. Unfortunately, if you have an application which tries to communicate its status to you through adjustments to the notification icon (like the xdrip+ blood glucose monitoring app I use does, drawing numbers on its own icon so I can see levels at a glance without having to open the full app), you'll find these are always hopelessly out of date since the icons images used on the AOD are clearly not refreshed in a timely fashion.
