I initially tried Fanola Blue shampoo which did absolutely nothing. I was skeptical this would work after the Fanola fail but to my surprise and relief it did work! The first time using I only left on 5 minutes per the instructions to leave on 2-5 min. I only saw a slight improvement so I used it again leaving on 10 minutes and that got rid of the brassiness. My only complaint is this left my hair feeling TOO conditioned resulting in a heavy limp feeling. Maybe I used too much but I had to shampoo it the next morning to get rid of that feeling. Next time I won't be so heavy handed and hope that solves the issue. Wipe up any spatters right away as it will stain. It is amazing! I chose this becaue my salon uses Goldwell color, so I thought this would be the perfect formulation for that as I still had plenty of color on my ends. I have medium/dark auburn hair, and it looked very nice and natural. I got so many compliments! I will say that the conditioning factor is not the best for me. I have super thick, coarse, long hair, it's hard for most any product to deal with. So, as I rinsed, I did add some of the Goldwell Repair Rich conditioner. That made it perfect. I will mention that month later, I tried the Moroccanoil product similar to this, just for comparison sake. Don't bother. Tangles. My hair looked like mud. To be fair, it's a different color. But, it should have been a soft, shiney finish with a brilliant color. It was anything but.
