You will know it is on once the blue flame on top of the bus is on. To pair the drone and the controller; turn the controller on, move the left joystick down and then up and then you should hear a chime. I have an 11 yr old that loves drones and loves Fortnite- this seemed like the perfect gift for him and it was!!Usually cheap drones quit working the first time they are dropped, this one has been put to the abuse and holds up incredibly. Is. Adorable! After a little fiddling I was up off the ground, and flying around my room. Make sure to read all the directions, as they have some game changers about the longevity and care of the drone. It hasn’t left my room yet, but I’m thinking on a clear day I’ll take it to the park. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a TOY! *by K***H on May 4, 2021* Think we paid $30 for used like new, and that is how it showed up; so that was a good start. Couple things to keep in mind: this is a toy for a kid but it is very difficult to control; best to use on soft landing surface like grass; only try to fly this on dead calm no wind days. It cannot overcome even the lightest of breezes, so you will be chasing it down in any kind of breeze. Battery life is approximately 10 minutes of true flight time and then it starts to get sluggish. Also note that the remote will sometimes loose link and the drone will fall out of the sky. It has fallen 20 ft on us but did not break because we only fly it on soft grass.
